Harder, and you'll experience chatter, or short engagement . ..

i have a question about this too. My clutch on my 2000 with 92k miles rattles depending on my rpms and if i am slowing down to make a turn. I thought that the clutch cable just needs to be adjusted but i am not sure. If anyone knows please let me know.

at 92000 miles, it's almost guaranteed you need a new clutch.
