Need help with acceleration

Hey guys i need help with acceleration on my 2002 gt. Ive noticed that it really lags in the lower rpms. Is the only way to fix this with a set of 3.73 gears. My car is bacically stock as far as I know it. Also what size stock pullies are on my car. I noticed one of the pullies seems to be a different look than the others and was wondering if someone already put an underdrive pulley in it. Thanks for all the help in advance. Sorry if the questions seem real basic but I only got my GT 3 days ago.
