Neither one does much better than a drop in K&N filter. It's more for show than go.

If you want go, you've gotta go with a DeMolet or FIPKII.

yeah, and a drop-in filter get's you 5-6.

150+ dollars for 3 hp is pretty low bang for buck . .. that's $50-75 for each hp.

MMFF and 5.0L Mustang did the tests 4-5 years ago. It's in the back issues.

There is no link, it's in the back issues.

june 2004 edition of MM&FF I think, around the same time for 5.0L Mustang.

http://www.tunableinduction.com/

5.0L Mustang had the same numbers. You'll notice the temp of 98 degrees. In hot weather the plastic ones don't have the heat soak of metal CAIs.

************************************************** *****

This is How our 3.8 #3D System Performs

Before and after Dynoruns of a 3.8 adding a Full Length #3D System

Before run: 3.8 v6 with stock air system, 98*F temp in dyno room
After run: 3.8 v6 with Full Length System, 98*F temp in dyno room
That's 12.5 RWHP and 14.8ftlbs of torque! This is an independent test.
