platinum spark plugs

Hi, I have had my mustang about two months now and how done a few bolt on mods and i was wondering if platinum spark plugs will help my performance or exactly what they will do and why people get them. also do the wires make a difference too. any help would be appreciated. thanks

platinum plugs last longer than regular plugs. Any more performance out of them, eh...not really.

The older the engine, the more difference they'll make. -but the better plugs will just get you back to peak.

at 58,000 your plugs should still be fine. You don't need to change them until 100,000 miles.
