Superchips Programmer

Hey does anyone know if the Superchips programmer 1724... will work with my 2002 v6 auto?...if not what superchips will work?


02 stang, True Dual exhaust, CAI, 4.10 gears, 180 Thermostat, Diablosport tuned, dropped 2", Cross Drilled rotors, Zri Fuzion Tires, GT RSB + more

kscoyote what do you think??? I know superchips makes a programmer for the 3.9L 2004....Would that work with my 2002 3.8L?... I want to spend around $300... I found superchips Programmers for that price.... Is there something else thats better for around the same price?

supposedly they are the same engine but I am not sure. Going with a programmer is definetly better than a chip though, I regret not getting one.

2002 v6 manual, SSM P&P Heads, Comp Cam from SSM, and some other stuff full list in profile.

Sorry, been on the road for business.

Made it from Bridgeport to Omaha on 1 tank of gas (Total Est. Time: 6 hours, 18 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 432.91 miles
-Take that County!)

yeah, it'll work, but you may have to download a new software package. Any programmer from 94-04 Ford will work. -they all have the same mapping program.

Contact them for the program, it's tied to the VIN, do it's a used one, you may have to switch that information.

So i should be able to get a programmer for like a 4.6L.... Also where can i download the Software package?

Any ford engine from 94-04 uses the same software.

you get teh software from the programmer's website. You need to contact them.
