Unsure and need help

I have an 86 LX Convertable with a 3.8 TBI. I want more power out of this car but know nothing about V6s and am having trouble finding info.I have a found a good motor for a swap. Its a supercharged V6 out of a 1990 Tbird. If I do the swap I know I am going to need the computer to go with do I need the same wiring harness also?Any and all advice is appreciated. This car will be a V6 for many years until I can fully change it over to a big block. Thanks you lookin.

you will need the harness too. you will also need the exhaust manafolds. i would try to get the transmission also, it will be a better transmission. and it should have the good rear end (8.8). this will be a good swap with a big improvment in power.

the 7.5" rear can handle the power just fine. It only produces 220hp.

How many miles are on the SC engine? You can buy a rebuilt SC engine from O'Reilleys for around $1800, If you're paying more than 25% of that for high miles, forget it.

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion.
