I had a 98 and an 01 v6 the 01 was much faster but not even close to my 95 5.0 I'm not sure if the swap you want to do is possible or not bot I know people that have swaped a 3.8 for the 5.0 with few problems and you could probley get one for the same price as a v6 but with more power and potential good luck

There's two ways of going about it.

The block is the same, so you could just convert. you can pick up all the parts in a package at www.rpm-mustangs.com or www.supersixmotorsports.com.

Or you could drop in the whole engine. If you drop in the engine you may have to change the bellhousing, but the only other thing you'll need is a programmer or just the 99+ computer.

It's a piece of cake.

The 5.0L swap will cost you a LOT more money, and I've beaten them with the minor mods I have. Of course the six doesn't have the torque of the 8, but too much torque is only good for roasting the tires.

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion.
