00 3.8 swap for a 03 4.6

I have a 2000 with 50k on it and a friend has a 03 4.6 he wants to give me what is all needid to swap out im not sure whay needs to stay and can work and what cant work woth it and i go ahead with the swap i might be selling all the parts that i cant use

Well the tranny should be fine.... ummm, the whole engine... ECU....if its all free then go for it... since you will make money selling the v6 parts

and the rear end, driveshaft (maybe), computer, wiring, brakes and shocks/springs.

Then you'll need to run it to a Ford Dealership to program the PATS.

well i was planing to change the rear end to a 8.8 but i just put a new centerforce clutch in i think its a big project i just need to know how big

it's a HUGE project that takes several days even with experienced professionals.
