Nitto 555 G2 295/40/18 and 285/35/18 which one?

If anyone can help I am looking to get new tires for my 2000 Mustang GT I have 295/35/18 Bridgestone 760 Sports in the rear which they don't make anymore. I am looking at Nitto NT 555 G2 295/40/18 and 285/35/18 both are the Same brands, can someone that has those sizes tires post pic of what your tires look like from the rear and side, I don't care what brand you have I just want to get an idea what the difference will look like between 295 vs 285. I have 245/40/18 Bridgestone 760 Sports up front. Thanks and I hope all will have a great safe New Year!! I also have spacers on my car.

What's your rim width?

I went from
285/40/18 pilot sport a/s 3 to
295/35/19 nitto g2 (not as wide as i thought, nittos run small)
305/30/19 cooper zeon (havent mounted on car yet but they are t.h.i.c.k)

If i were you and i could fit a 305 on the wheel, id go for 305s
