Wheel width??

I just recently purchased a 2007 GT and I am planning on changing the wheels out. It currently has the 18 inch Bullitt chrome wheels on it. I am trying to determine what width they are. The only identification I can find is a 10 stamped on the inside edge of the wheel. Does anyone have any idea as to how to tell what the width is. Thanks.

I had a 2008 with the same wheels. Pretty sure they are 18x8

The wheels are indeed 18x8.5. I removed the front wheel this afternoon to verify. I am wanting to get a set of American racing wheels 18x9. The tires I currently have are 235/55/18. The tires are only a few months old and I would like to know if they would fit the 9inch wheel. I know the ideal size is 255/45/18? I do plan on getting a larger/wider tire in the future. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

on my car I have 17x8 with 245-45-17 front and on the rear 18x10 275-40-18 but I'm looking to put a bigger tire on the rear
something like 285-or 295-40-18 to give it a more "RAKED" look
