Ok the idea of these picture threads are just that PICTURES! Many enthusiasts
first upgrade is in the wheel and tire category. Many have question on what they will look like and what will fit. Instead of searching the entire forum for a combo or what is needed for making them fit this will be the place to post pictures of your wheel and tire combo and any modifications needed to make them fir…example rolling the wheel wells.
Having pictures will better enable members to pick the combo that they like best.

All discussion of the picture threads should be done in the Picture Thread Discussion and not in the picture thread, other wise it wouldn’t be a picture thread. So if any one has suggestions or want to ask a question about fit the discussion is the place to ask them.

So post in the Picture thread should contain Pictures of the wheels and the following info.

Year of Mustang
Wheel Size
Tire Size
What modification, if any, needed to make it fit
And is you car lowered and how much.

I have posted one in the Fox body section to give everyone an idea so lets now see thoes Wheel and Tire Combos!

Hello sir,

I would like to get some Shelby Razor wheels for my 01 GT not unlike yourself. I want to get them in 20'' as well.

Seems like you have 20'' Razors. Can you tell me if you have 20x9 or 20x10 ect. Can you tell me if you had any issues at all (rubbing issues for example) I really want to get 20 inch Razors but whenever I search about 20'' wheels or post questions on forums I get answers like, you will ruin your car with rubbing issues, performance issues ect.

Whats your take from actually having the experience of owning 20'' Razors.

Can you let me know if there are any rubbing issues with 20 inch Razors on a 99-04 Mustang? Or any issues at all...?

American Racing Razor Anthracite w/Mach Lip (4) 17x9
Continental ExtremeContact DW (Max Performance Summer) (4) 275/40ZR17

There was a little rubbing at 1st while at full turn to the sides but it's pretty much gone now. Brand Spanking new, the tires actually were grabbing cause you can hear the tread popping but again, that is all pretty much gone, I'll get a pic of them on my car soon...

TireRack shipped them with cardboard on the sides to protect the rims but the tires got scuffed up cause the cardboard didn't cover all but it's ok, no cuts...

any rubbing issue on the fronts? how much is it lowered

I have 17x9 all around, No rubbing unless under full lock to one side but it's not bad to the point of wearing away the rubber on the tires, but of course, you could go a size smaller on the sidewall than I have... I posted all about it earlier...
See post above of my rims
