History
Began restoration when purchased in 2009. It was a beautiful car that had a cheap paint job on it and the engine had many problems. I first had to address an overheating problem, then a fuel problem. After a year or two of battling problems I finally rebuilt the engine and made some modifications

Drivetrain
Rebuilt the original 289 and bore it .030 over.Converted the 2 BBL intake to an original 4 BBL with an autolite 1600. After a year of changing jets and endless adjustments,I added an edlebrock 4 BBL intake and manifold as well as an electronic ignition.
Interior
I upgraded the interior to a Pony interior, added new carpet and sound deadening material. I also added carpet to the trunk area and spare tire.
Exterior
Nothing has been done to alter the exterior. I had the vehicle sandblasted and repainted a maroon red from the 2008-2012 Ford F series truck. I replaced the stock wheels with hubcaps to the Gt rally wheels.
Audio
Installed a retro radio that looks like the original but has the modern convienence of ipod and USB connections.
Suspension
Kept the suspension the same with the exception of 1 inch lowering springs on the front.
