Car was originally a 4 cyl AOD car. With lots of rust. Repaired all the rust, and swapped in a 351W and C4.
1986 Mercury Hatchback (Silver)
351W (1970) with SVE 2.02/1.60 aluminum heads, Comp Cams XR282RF roller & springs, Keith Black pistons, Scorpion 1.6 roller rockers, TrickFlow pushrods, ARP main studs, Pro Products Typhoon high rise, Holley 3310, BBK 1.75" long tubes, MSD ProBillet, B&M 2,400 stall torque converter, and TCI C4.
Stock, except for B&M StarShifter and Grant steering. Also removed radio and replaced with AFR and trans temp gauges.
Replaced hatchback lid and rear taillight panel with one from a 1990 Mustang GT. Replaced hood with a RS hood. Added GT cladding all the way around.
Driving this beast.
New stock front springs, struts, calipers, control arms and caster/camber plates. 1989 8.8 TractionLoc w/4.10 Ford Racing gears and 31 spline axles, and all new parts. Tubular adjustable rear control arms and Monroe shocks.
