History
Bought and restored in 1984-85. I did all the work myself, other than having the crank polished & balanced and "front-end alignment".
Drove it almost daily, until late 2014, when I took it apart again to do a lot of upgrades; like, "independent front suspension (to lower front 6")., rebuild rear to get 3.08:1 (for better gas mileage), mono-leaf rear suspension (to lower rear 4"), remove roof (to make rust repair & eliminate drip-rail), replace engine w/2009 4.6L, 3V engine (fully controlled by computer), replace transmission with 5 speed floor shifted M5R2 (last manual trans offered in the F-150), replace original heating system to install an "Old Aire" (combination heater/air-conditioner) and a complete paint job (last painted by me in 1985 and will be painted by me this time). Hopefully I will finish by next Summer.
