We received the car on Monday, 11/16/15 with 24 miles on the odometer.

This is a base GT and its only extra option is an automatic transmission. I will not modify this car in any way, other than adding a spare tire, because it is already perfect.
The suspension does not need to be any stiffer. The exhaust does not need to be any louder. The 18" wheels are plenty big enough. The 3.15 rear end is completely appropriate for the 4.17 first gear of the automatic.

I bought a "15 thru 16 Mustang OEM Genuine Ford Spare Wheel Tire Kit with Jack & Wrench NEW" Ford Genuine Part Number FR3Z-1K007-C off e-bay from FairWay Ford Wholesale Parts, Canfield, Ohio, for $230.95 with no sales tax and free postage. It would have cost $272.85 at Elder Ford. "Spare Wheel and Tire ($195) is optional on all Mustang models except those with summer only tires. Spare wheel and tire replaces Tire Mobility Kit (TMK) which is standard on all Mustangs." The spare tire was delivered containing 56 psi pressure and the sidewall of the tire says that the maximum pressure is 60 psi. The spare tire kit in the delivery box weighed 45.2 lbs.
