After we totaled my wife's 96 GT in June of '11 because of a catastrophic power booster failure and hitting an embankment at a "T" intersection in the country where we live, my wife departed the car and said... "I know she's totaled... I want a fox.... an automatic..... AND I DON'T WANT A 4 CYLINDER!" A friend of ours at Palmetto Pony a local Mustang shop, found this near all original 235k mile white with factory black interior 92 GT. It still had 6 of the 8 original 92 plug wires, and original 92 hoses. Somewhere along the way an owner had switch to the LX tail lites, put ugly euro head lites in, went catless and put original 40 Flowmasters on (no dumps just the outllets) the only changes we made were replacing ugly euro head lites and removing some dents on the nose of the hood and one on to between the windshield and sun roof (this was a "rescue horse"). Tree Slayer is my name for my wife's car, we hit a just fallen pine tree on a dark back road one nite after a storm, fortunately we hit the top section and broke off the top 15 feet of it, lost the rt fender scoop, fog lites, and the rt turn signal lens.... we were still driveable. last year at 287k miles the AOD was changed out and the apparently original timing chain. currently we are less than 3000 miles from the 300k mile mark on the original 5.0 engine.... BUILT FORD TOUGH !
