History
I purchased this baby as a rolling shell in 1999. San Jose, CA built, A code 289 originally lime green, repainted forest green at some point. Some one also tried to convert it to a 68 or it was built very late in the 67 production cycle as it is a hybrid 67-68.
Did suspension and drive train between 1999-2010.
Body and paint in 2012.
Working on interior and finishing touches 2019 - present
1967 Ford Mustang Fastback (Charcoal gray metallic)

Modifications

Drivetrain
Balanced and blueprinted 1990 5L with Borg-Warner T5 from a totaled Mustang GT. Engine has comp cam, Edelbrock performer manifold with Holley 650DP. Headers with dual Flowmaster H-pipe exhaust. It is a lot of fun to drive and get squirrelly.
Thank you Tri-valley Machine - Pacheco, CA. Thank you TranPro - Walnut Creek, CA. Thank you Central Tune, Walnut Creek, CA.
Interior
Stock, with some nice touches. Going Deluxe black - it is a work in progress. Dual buckets with head rests from 68. fold down and trap door all original. Back seat re-upholstered. Need lower quarters - contact me if you have any for sale.
Exterior
Charcoal Grey metallic paint - done by Watson Autobody, Fairfield, CA - Thank you Scott Watson! Looks like a sleeper but it is anything but.

Note: not a dent or scratch on her! Kept under a car cover all the time.
Audio
Alpine CDA-9886 with center dual coil, kick panels with 5/6" and rear 6"x9" in Mustangs to fear upper quarters. Yamaha YPA-1000 Amp and Alpine MRV-500 Mono Sub Amp. Still looking for a sub-woofer...?
Suspension
Stock suspension and steering with minor upgrades-
PST Poly graphite bushings and grommets front and back - stiff with lots of gription. New tie rods, new ball joints, new lower control arms.
4 wheel disc brakes - SSB up front and Leed Brakes in the rear - stops on a dime - unbelievable. Highly recommend this upgrade.
KYB Gas adjust shocks - can't afford Bilsteins.
Looking to upgrade and take advantage of the 5L power steering in the near future. Not sure if I will stick with Ford power assist or upgrade to Borgeson.
Wheel and Tire
American Racing 14x6 Torq Thrust D - BF Goodrich 235/245 60 series Radial TA Z rated.
