Im looking for a junkyard 302 to build. I found a few motors but on all of them the plenum is backwards from my 87 5.0. Is that something i have to consider or will a gt40 or aftermarket intake and heads fit the same?? I just want to know what cars i can get a 302 block from that i can drop in...

I am working on a 87 gt and can not get the engine to fire. I have set the firing order to 1,3,7,2,6,5,4,8 for the HO and have the dist with 1 setting at 12 o'clock. i have put a new fuel filter and fuel pump relay in it. the inertia switch in the trunk seems to be ok(by passed it but no fuel)...

i am looking into puting a roll cage in my 87 gt. I would like some suggestions on what would run me more.. would buying a kit and getting a shop to weld it in.. or would just letting the shop build the cage the way i want it. what would be the better thing to do?? lety me know what u think...
