My traction control doesnt turn off when i press the button, but the button still lights up. I was told that i could pull the ABS fuse to disable it but i would loose my ABS..i dont wana go that route, is there any other easy way to just disable it? or someway to fix it? PLEASE REPLY!!!

I have a 1996 Mustang V6 and the ABS light has been on for a VERY long time now. My dad and i replaced the brake pads a while back. Other than that, theres nothing we've done to the brake system.

So I've seen all the threads on how to jump the connectors on the ABS diagnostic connector but when I ground the orange/yellow wire either to the black wire on the connector or to the frame I cant get the ABS light to flash when I turn the key on. Any ideas? Does this mean there is something...

So when my TCS off light is on that means it is off, what makes this turn on? I can only imagine that the TCS enables when senses "slippedge" of the tires? Also my ABS light remains on also, is that normal? and is that connected somehow to the TCS??? thank you =D

I had the back of my car up on jackstands and the front was still touching. well I started the car and accidentally left the parking brake on while i let the tires spin to check out a rear end problem. Well to cut to the chase when I started the car my abs light stays on now. Anybody know why...
