Hey guys, I know there is a massive thread already on dual exhaust conversion for the V6, but there really isn't any information specifically tailored to what I need. Currently I have a stock exhaust system, aside from the axle back. Shortly in a few weeks my GT style rear bumper will be coming...

Have any of yall in north or south Carolina who have done catalytic converter delete had any trouble with the law or passing inspections? Thinking about doing it to save some money.

Hi everyone, I just bought a 2010 Mustang GT about a week ago. I have a quick question about high flow cats. I was told that the stock catalytic convertors are already high-flow...so I'm wondering if that's true, and if so, why buy an aftermarket?

My 2011 5.0 has only 36,000 miles on it but I've already replaced both catalytic converters in the last year and my check engine light is on (again) and it is throwing a P0430 code. What would cause this? Could it be related to my supercharger? I can't afford to keep replacing the cats...

Hey everyone, I just ordered myself some Borla headers and cant wait to get them installed. But unfortunately im going to have to run cats so i can get a shop to install them and more importantly so it will tame down the noise as i have borla ataks. My questions are, what are my options in...

I'm debating hollowing out my cats on my stock h-pipe, I'm not expecting any significant performance gains, but I would like the added sound for my stock 07 GT. Where I live there is absolutely no emissions testing, so that's not an issue. Do you guys think this is something worth doing in my...

I have stainless steel headers and h-pipe with no catalytic converters. It's inspection time and I want to pass with no problems. I want to put the catalytic converters after the h-pipe because I will be getting rid of it for a turbo system. I also think it will be much easier to install in the...

I recently got shorty x pipes put on my car but want it to be louder. I'm thinking of ditching the cats completely and have a few questions. 1.) Can I pull the cats out and just replace them with straight pipe? 2.) Would it be easier to just buy off road x pipe and replace the entire unit...

Does anyone have an opinion on this? ROUSH Performance: 2010-2011 Mustang GT Cold Air Intake Kit I don't want to tune my car (and probably can't due to California law). However, the installation instruction manual says "for offroad use only". Why would this be the case? This seems like a rather...

hello, I have an 06 GT with a BBK cold air intake and Pypes x-pipe with cats. I also have Pypes Violator mufflers. After the installation of my x-pipe these two dtc codes came up on my car. They're cat effeciency codes. I have my car tuned to an 87 octane and sometimes a 93 octane tune through...

This past week, my check engine light has decided to come on, so i took it to my mechanic to see what the problem was. He told me that it had something to do with the cats. However, the exhaust system that i have said that it might require o2 sensors. could this be the problem?
