Does anyone know if it is better for me to remove the badge from the rear deck-lid of the 2010-2013 & 2014 Mustang? Or will I be able to do as good of a job with it left on?

I'm about to get two of the infamous black, red, and chrome "Roush" die cast emblems to replace the "GT" on my 2002 Roush stage II. Are these hard to replace and do they have holes on the back to line them up properly? I heard they're easy to get off using nylon fishing line.
