  1. Gas cap problems (P0456) on 05-09 mustang?

    2005-2010 Mustang GT Tech
Does anyone else have problems with their gas cap constantly going bad? Since ownership of my 2006 Mustang GT I have had problems where my gas cap takes zero effort to uncap, and I constantly have to buy new one ~6 months or so. I'm not sure if the caps from O'Reilly are just **** or what.

When I bought the car it had an evap leak and did not pass, I fixed the leak and the car passed but the HC raised by around 30ppm and was 12ppm away from failing. My question is, can I plug the line between the carbon canister...
  6. 1992 Mustang EVAP test failure. What else could it be?

    5.0L Tech
Hello A month ago I bought a 92 mustang and I'm having troubles with the EVAP system failing the emissions test. I vacuum tested the line from the charcoal canister to the fuel tank and it held vacuum. I replaced the fuel filler grommet because it was ripped but it still didn't pass the test...
