So, I caught a random gigantic rock in a parking lot, and this happened. It's snapped clean off of the gas tank, the mounts (which were on the gas tank itself) were sheared off. What, uh, should I do here? Obviously the check engine light is on... What a day that was. It's currently tied up...

So I have a brand new gas tank from CJ-P-Parts that came with the fuel sending unit. I used what came with it to replace my extremely old tank that was full with what looked like tar and the OEM sending unit was rusted out. I didn't think anything of it to use the one that came with the new tank...

Hi, I'm new to this forum & seem to have a unique problem. I've got a 65 Mustang & I can't get more than 20-odd litres (5-6 gallons) in, before it starts coming out of the filler pipe. I've tried all the old tricks to remove air locks, to no avail. I'm pretty sure the sender unit is working...

I just installed Flowmaster Force II dual exhaust which bolts in to the factory Y pipe. Here are a few issues I ran into 1) The holes in the flange which bolts into the factory Y pipe would not align, so i had to actually grind it quite a bit to finally get it aligned 2) The flange does not...

Well today, i test my fuel sending unit as it was draining and the number on ohms i was getting was around 165-170. I was taking the positive and putting it to the muffler. Then after i took it out realized that i shouldve grounded it to the plate, so i put it back in, just hanging there...

I was just making sure how to test to make sure a sending unit is working properly. You take the multimeter and put it on ohms. Then take the positive "prong" and touch it to the part in which the sending unit connection is made. My question is where does the ground "prong" go? Does it connect...

I put the engine out of a 66 into my 88, but since I'm no longer using the in-tank fuel pump I was wondering a good way to mod the tank to get a bottom style pickup you would find in the older cars before EFI was around. Any ideas?

Hey guys so my gas tank is leaking and I noticed that is comming from the rubber gromment. It's a 1998 Cobra. I'm going to replace it, but I do not have too much knowledge with gas tanks or any of that matter. I am pretty handy with the engine but I have no idea how to replace this gasket...

Just converted my 91 Fox to carb, and was gonna sump my tank. I figured I would just buy a new tank to make the job easier. What tank do I buy? Replacement for my EFI tank? Tank for earlier car? As far as I know, I'm keeping my stock sending unit, just pulling the pump? Ideas?

Well, Took the car to irving today, went in and payed 8 dollars, put the filler in the tank, clicked the trigger and BAM! it starts this stupid shutoff S!#$, so it kept spilling gas on me and I only got 2 dollars in the tank. Then I drove off very very angrily, swearing at every last bit of...

So I just recently got my 1966 mustang, and never had put gas into it. So I put a half tank in. After I put the gas in, I noticed a gas smell in the car. So when i got home I opened the trunk and found a small puddle (very small) on the trunk floor. My guess is its the fuel neck, but not...

Hi, I recently noticed a leak at my fuel sending unit and replaced the gasket. I wasn't too confident in the seating of the gasket but I put a couple gallons of gas after replacement and no leak. Yesterday tanked up and it began leaking again. Possibly there wasn't enough gas to reach the top...

When i try to put gas in my car, the car won't receive it. We thought there was pressure messing with it. But thats not it. We put the nozzle in there like you normally do, then start to fill it up, but after about 2 seconds, it just shoots the gas back out. Any ideas??
