I have a 1966 red mustang coupe. I am looking to put a supercharger on it and don't know what to modify or if i can just bolt it on. I have been told that it effects the compression ratio. if it does not effect the compression ratio, then does it change other things? please help, thank you.

I see the new 5.0's are 11.0:1 compression and they are supercharging them. My 1987 GT has TRW flat top piston's and Edelbrock Performer heads and a E303 cam with 10.9:1 compression is that too high for a supercharger? Also has been converted to Mass air with a 1990 computer. Thanks Charles
