00 Exhaust hole (Where hanger should be)

My left Exhaust is missing the hanger for it, I noticed a hole with special tape wrapped around it, now of which has a hole as well.

(Bought used car)

Is there anything I can cover it with, without taking off entire exhaust. to put a new hanger there? Like some metal of some sort you can buy and wrap around it then put new hanger on.
