2002 v6 3.8 convertible choking up and then dies when idle or in park mostly after running for a while, and cannot find an answer. changed filters, throttle sensor and position , new battery new egr val. need help!!

I'm having a similar problem with my '02. Mine doesn't completely die, but it come close. I'll be watching this to see what you come up with.

is the check engine light on? if so what are the code numbers

Possibly the IAC goin out (idle air control) it is to the left of the throttle body if you look directly at it

Also a vacuum line may be detached that is a common cause of rough idle and may cause the car to cut out
