Getting delusional here but .I REALLY like this Car . Wasn't the MSRP 139K ?

http://i3.ebayimg.com/04/i/04/a1/79/16_1_b.JPG

Will this beast ever hit the skids & drop to say 80k used ???

Some Analyst that predicted gas to hit $3.00 per gallon over a year ago , said we could see $5 to even $10 per gallon by next year based on one terror strike to a major Oil Refinery in the Mid East. Not that most buyers of these cars will likely care but still I wonder once the frenzy is over will they drop down to MSRP new & under 100K used ?

I guess the thought of going Way over Boat for a Shelby has me thinking in other directions

Seen that these go at over 200k in Ebay (I think the average is something like 230-250k), I don't think that you'll see a used one at 80k anytime soon...

Not cheap but you know 60-80K cheaper than you mentioned & I can post another half dozen examples

100K or less in a year or 2 for a 10K mile used example doesn't seem so far fetched. IMO , unless you're a dealer :so

Guess you'll just have to wait and see. I've seen them on dealer lots for $200k so $170k on eBay would seem reasonable. Considering how few Ford builds I'd guess that resale prices will stay inflated for the time being. Only time will tell...

Yeah, they'll get $80k soon and Jennifer Anniston will call you and ask you if you want one.

No, I am not a dealer, cool that you found some of them sold at those prices, I remember seeing them on Ebay going for much more months ago, I guess they are not selling over 200K anymore, so what ? :)
I still believe that finding one at 80K anytime soon will be quite an accomplishment (<--euphemism).
I hope you will be able to find one, good luck. :)
