where is the tensioner on my 05 V6 you may ask?


well after a second broken one, its GONE! i went old school and converted to the ol alternator tensioner.


take a look.


road test, no belt slipage, no black dust on the brackets!

from the pics it looks like he used the threaded studs to adjust the alternator. you might find where or if he posted it in the 05horsegarage in the stickys. 05h is gone for a while. it would make it a little harder to remove the belt. not sure why they were breaking, ive got 100k on my original.
