06 GT Stock 17" Wheel Rotor/Pad upgrade

It's time for me to change my pads (a little overdue actually) and rotors (they are fairly warped, vibration in the wheel during breaking).

I have a 2006 GT with the 17" "premium machined aluminum" and would like to get slightly nicer rotors and definitely better pads. In the future I would like to upgrade to 18" wheels and look into a full upgrade but for now rotors and pads are just fine.

I drive moderately aggressively and would like to be able to break a bit more aggressively too. It just seems like the stock rotors just warp too easily with heat, but that could be just me.

Any suggestions on pads/rotors, heck brake fluid for that matter?

I would grab a set of GT take off breaks for now... there are a lot of sets floating around with people upgrading to bigger break sets... It'll include the rotors pads, and everything else... you can sell what you don't need.

The stock setup can break very effectively for normal street use if you upgrade the pads, lines, and brake fluid. After you have larger rims then you could upgrade to a larger rotor and break setup if you are still finding yourself warping the rotors, I would recommend BAER for the bang for the buck in street use. Just there standard 2 piston 14" upgrade kit is plenty for street use, and look fabulous. They'll run you about $1800 for front and rear's.
