Hey guys, I'm working with an 06 standard V6. A friend of mine Just replaced his stock exhaust on his 06 GT with some aftermarket ones so my question is; would it be possible to take the exhaust system from a GT and make it work on my V6? I have everything from the catalytic converters back, is it possible to just take out my Y pipe and install the stock exhaust from this GT? I just thought that if the converters were in the same spot it should be possible. I appreciate any help, cheers.

+1 stlwagon it will fit if you do the work your self you can make sure every thing is where you want it take it to an exhaust shop that will let you see the work as its being done so your happy with what you get

the h pipe from the gt will slip over your cut y pipe and you weld it on. you will need an exhaust hanger for the driverside. the passenger side over the axle pipe is the same gt or v-6 so just leave it. You will also need another band clamp if you friend reused his.
