Yeah, aerodynamics do help in the top end. I use to have a corvette c4, and they are great for high speed racing (silverstate, pony express), i know after 135 you start to loose your rear end because of lift, and the shape of the car was almost like a wing of an airplane. It took a downforce rear wing to help the problem. Those 350z are pretty bad ass considering they are normally asperated. I knew someone who had a 90s 300z with a twin turbo that was all tricked out, that car use to be one of the fastest cars i've ever seen, it just had drivability problems, but on the drag strip it was a 9 second car and he drove it to work everyday. :happyhapp
