1/8th mile times

i made two 1/8 mile times tonight on my way home using a g-tech pro. the first was 10.1 at 75mph and the second was 10.2ish at 74mph. i dont know if these are good times or not but i figure they are ok for a motor with 240k miles on it. i think my 60 foot times were 2.6 for the first and 2.7 for the second.

well . . those times are pretty close to the times my 95 Vert made when it was stock . . 2.7 sec 60 foot and 10.31 1/8 mile . . . of course, I was having traction issues and those times are from a track (you usually get better traction on the street). My engine had about 100,000 miles on it at the time.
ya i dunno if the speed is correct though cause i was looking at other peoples 1/8th times and they were only going like 68mph with the same ET... maybe my g-tech isnt calibrated to accurate yet. i need to take it to the track so i can do that.
Take it to the track. More accurate there than on "the street". I like the gtech mainly for braking and lateral g's. Overall 1/8 or 1/4 mile times are way off.

Take it to the track and let us know how it goes. You should be atleast in the 9's. 218k here on my motor and runs strong 8.15 on ET STREETS and 8.5 on street tires.
ya i think that i'll do that. what track should i go to?. i live in orange county california. i think california dragstrip has stuff going on right now and wont open up the track for the public till like october or something but ill check. what other dragstrips are in southern cali? perferably a 1/4 mile track.
