Can anyone tell me what the deal is with a 10 or 11 oclock pointer? I am moving mine to the right side due to a waterpump outlet change and it is now unviewable. I see there is a 10 & 11 olcock type. How would I know this?

Balancer marks vary on different vehicles because of what you just did. You can either mark your balancer for the new pointer location or purchase a strip of timing tape to put on it.

Hi,

If you are a little bit handy, you can fab your own pointer. Just insure #1 cyl is in the firing position, I.E both valves closed, with the rotor pointing to # 1 cap position. Piston should be at TDC.
Hope this helps a little.
