Crazy fun track! Turn one is super blind left hander hairpin that you enter up hill and exit downhill LOL!! After that its full tilt to turn 3, where you lift a bit and set up for turn 5 where I can see quite a few very interesting passing opportunities. Then there is turn 13-18 were passing is going to be quite epic and vary tempting depending on setups and drivers in F1(I don’t think anyone is gonna try it though LOL). I wonder who’s got the nerves to pass on 16-18 at full tilt and lock building up! 400$ Million into this track, I hope everyone likes it. We need an American driver in F1 to represent dam it! Who should it be?!

I've never been much of a F1 fan other than in video games, but I gotta tell ya, this is awesome! I've driven by the track and it is quite a sight to see, even from the highway. I actually would love to go to one of the races...maybe next year.

Go see the Australian V8 Supercars.
I wish NASCAR was more like the V8 Supercars racing. No ovals, all road courses, in extremely fast modified production chassis based cars (Not a custom racing chassis with fiberglass body panels on top)
Just make the connection for American viewers that Holden is a GM product, and you've got your classic GM vs Ford rivalry.
Besides, where else are you going to see a real, authentic, new Ford Falcon racing along at 180MPH?
It really is a blast to drive. Here is a better video with higher res and Mario Andretti at the wheel. I cant wait to see Kimi run this track against Sev and Fernado on the 16th.

I just watch David Levines practice run a few hours a go and I thought I saw a familuar pass set up on turn 3 for turn 5/6 lol. It looked like he and that number 51 were really going at it. Glad to see it in use!Full tilt to turn 3, where you lift a bit and set up for turn 5 where I can see quite a few very interesting passing opportunities. 11-05-2012
Turn 1 at 2:33, turn 2 at 2:47, set up on turn 3 cuts real deep into it, cuts deep into 5 and a door opens just right at turn 6 lol. Well done!!

51 Is Shelby Blackstock. He did really well in the conti race and placed 3rd IIRC in star mazda. Very clean and precise driver, much like Roush. They don't need to get "argy-bargy" like the others often do. They just wait for the field to sort itself out and then they creep up in position.
Billy Johnson is WAY faster than Jack Roush Jr.

Moto GP will be there in April. I'm not a big car racing fan but saw the Rolex Sports car series there its an awesome looking track! Great looking facilities look pro!
