I have scrapes in the rims of all 4 wheels on my 2011 GT, so I have some questions:

1. Has anyone had any luck doing a rattle can touchup of the silver paint on the wheels? If so, what rattle cans did you use :?:

2. I am thinking about having the wheels powder coated black with red accent like the black Boss 302 wheels. How durable is the powder coating on the wheels :?:

Opinions appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Powder coating is the way to go. It's a lot more durable than paint BUT it will still not survive curbing. If you wanna do it on the cheap get a few cans of Plastidip and check out how guys do their wheels on Youtube. It will scratch easy but it holds up just fine to washing. If it gets messed up you can just peel it off and repaint it.

Powder coat is diffidently the way to go! There is so many colors they can do also. We powder coat our atv frames and they hold up to all the sand really well

Don't take this the wrong way but don't waste your time. Maybe you should just learn to stop scraping your wheels up first.

I bent and scrapped wheels when I was younger too but you'll eventually learn to be more careful.
You might also look into those tires that have the bead that goes beyond the lip. They will save you from minor scrapes.

But dude(ete?)...all 4 in less than 2 years?! Maybe you need an ignition interlock, or a just a Bluetooth. Lol
