I was just wondering if anyone had the 18x9 cobra R rims on there stang and if so were there any fitment probs with a lowered supsension. I want to get these rims but the supsension I will have will lower the car 1 1/2 in. Will I have any rubbing issues?

I have 18X9 Boyd's with the Eibach pro kit. Lowered about 1 1/2 inches. No problems w/ mine! Go for it!

I did a lot of research on this before putting wheels and tires on.

If they are "hub centric" and "back spaced" correctly, you will have no problems what so ever. I just bought Saleen 18x9 front with 265's, and 18 x 10.5 rear with 295's. Nothing rubs and the car is lowered 1.5 inches all around. Fronts turn to turn, plenty of room.

In general, unless you go with a rim that is not made for the mustang, you have plenty of room with an 18 x 9. and in fact, out back 10.5 like mine are known to fit, except I had to reverse my quad shocks.
