1965-1967 driveshaft swap

I sent it to a friend to replace the u-joints and the driveshaft had 67 wrote on it with chalk.I was wondering if a 67 driveshaft will bolt up to the 65 if it is indeed a 67 driveshaft. I failed to test fit it because it was wrapped in plastic and sent it off before I could check. I assume it is a 65 because the car is a 65 but really have no way of knowing without it in my hands.
