Let me start by saying I have searched the forums and either they have dead links or the site they list does not have a complete kit that I'm looking for. Maybe they should sticky FAQs like this?

I have a 1965 mustang 6 cyc 4-lug drum brakes(no power steering), I'm trying to find a conversion kit to a 5-lug disc brake set up.

Thanks

Thanks for the links RagHead.

discbrakeswap.com: Seems to have the kit I'm looking for. BUT they seem shady... 0 posts on their forums? What's up with that?

ssbrakes.com and mpbrakes.com: Only have 4-lug drums to 4-lug disc. The other kits are not complete and I would need an tie rod that would fit those.

Have you bought a kit from discbrakeswap.com before, or know anyone? I'd like to know if they're legit before I buy. But the kit seems like the perfect thing I'm looking for, plus very cheap? Weird.

It has the stock 4-lug rear end in it sadly. Which is a 7"? When I bought the car the guy gave me a non-posi 5-lug drum brakes rear end with the leaf springs still attacked. So I'm guessing it's a 8"? Would you how hard would it be to switch those rear ends andrewmp6?

I haven't purchased anything from them myself but did a lot of research on disc brake conversion kit and had a lot of good reviews and comments about their kits. They also sell on ebay, everyone had good things to say about their kits including the price. The only reason I didn't buy from them is that I stayed 4 lug and went with the Scarebird 4 lug setup :bigthumbsup.

How does lack of posts in our forum make us shady? I removed the forum topics because nobody but Eastern European porn and pill spammers were posting.

We offer a kit to add 5 lug "Granada" type disc brakes directly onto a 6 cylinder 4 lug cars, no mods necessary.

I dealt with Dennis at CSRP a few months back. Honest and on the ball. Parts fit like a glove, you won't have problems with his stuff.
