Yes, the other goes to a three-contact connector that goes to the fuse panel. Unfortunately, the diagram doesn't say what color that wire is, and it's too late to go out and look at mine, but it sounds like you've got the right one.

Hello. 
Yup, it sounds like you have the right spot. The back up light wire plugs into the accessory feed which sticks out of the front of the fuse box. Here's a picture of that.
