So i have been working on my musty like crazy. Finally got a look at her in all one color. Any how like many im out of money for sure at this point. I still have two front fenders to purchase and some new glass. I have this idea. Now that its primed and sealed up in this darker to be expected grey which looks cool im thinking of either taking my single stage black paint that i bought for under the hood and under the trunk panel, or taking some 2k clear that i have and paint some racing stripes on my car (high gloss racing stripes same color). Would be temp of coarse till i gather everything up and take her back down to paint. Who knows how long. Just thought it would be fun to ask. Two stripes, hood and trunk deck only, or all the way down including the roof? I will be assembling the car again starting tomorrow hopefully so i can start taping. Just having fun at this point.

Since it is just for fun, why not try something a little out of the ordinary? For example, I went for a ride today and a truck passed me with a large graphic on his rear window. It said "Zombie Apocalypse Response Vehicle" with a large bio-hazard symbol. It got my attention. Or is this not the type of attention you seek? :)

Samuel check out the July, 2011 Car Craft issue on Great Paint at home. They laid on some Hot Rod Flatz urethane, which was basically a slam-dunk to paint and lay down for a total outlay in material , including the primer, which you already have done for 365.00. It looks great, and would definately draw some looks until you can step up again.............Just an idea......Good luck with the project.

Lol at the bio hazard. I have never painted, or did body work, or even worked on a car before this one. Just looking for some fun ideas that might look good. I'm even feeling molar paint schemes. Looking like a car now that it's one color. Been looking like a leopard with all the rust metal and multi colored pri
Primer spots. Haha. I bought a sata jet paint gun sprayed some red and chevy orange on an old quarter I had with some clear. I got goose bumps thinking about a painted musty sitting in my driveway. Im thinking the black will look pretty good.
