I'm a new owner of a 1965 Mustang imported into England from Nevada. The car is in great shape apart from sun damage in a couple of places. The dash needs most work and I would like to remove it as soon as possible but the manuals haven't arrived yet. Can anyone tell me if removal is straightforward? Are there any hidden screws that I should be aware of? Or maybe there is a sequence to be followed to remove the dash. Any help is welcome!

Hello.:) The only things that aren't really obvious are that there are ( should be :gringreen) two tiny little clips that look like door panel clips holding the log pieces of the lower dash trim, along with the little scews that you can see. Those trim pieces are very easy bend and very difficult to find if you need to replace them, so be careful. Also, you need to remove the speaker grille from the middle of the dash, and the speaker. There are two studs on the dash pad that stick through into the area underneath the speaker, up above the radio. They take a 3/8 wrench to remove. But, other than that, what you see is pretty much all that there is. Hope that helps.:)
