I had a longer post, but for some reason it didn't post. I have a 65 Mustang w/ an 88 302/5.0. As I swapped the oil pan to a front sump for clearance the oil dipstick is now useless. What are my options to fix this?

Ideas: 1). Repace timing cover w/ an early model 289 timing cover (the one w/ the dipstick in it). 2). Drill a hole in the stock 88 cover...has anyone done this? Ideas/ suggestions???

Drill a hole. The cover on the late model still has the boss cast into it.

Center punch it and use a 7/16 drill bit.:shiny:
