Hello! I am glad to have found this site!

I have a 65 mustang and have rebuilt the entire thing minus the new paint job. I just had a 347 stroked built for it by a professional. We put it on a dyne and it ran great. I put it in and it runs great, but it is overheating. Do I need to put in a larger radiator or something to prevent this? It was an original 289 engine. Just wonder if anyone has had this experience. Thanks!

What radiator is in it now? a original or aftermarket? what size is it 2 or 3 row, copper/aluminum?

Most of the time engine upgrading always requires a better radiator, in this case its still a small block but if its 347 then its been bored over plenty and in some cases be prone to overheating because of the overbore.

Also be sure to run of fan shroud and a nice flex fan if you dont already.
