I just bought a 65 mustang I'm restoring for my mom's 60th birthday in march. It was the first car she bought and thought it might be a great gift.

Its a manual everything but I plan on a 4 lug disc brake conversion with power booster( leaving the 4 lug on it since its a inline 6 and old lady car not a mustang car.

Looking into this new power steering setup which I think is a great alternitive to the factory leaky power steering
1965-04 Mustang

I may add AC but not sure yet.

QUESTION IS:
I'm wondering is there a 3 groove pulley for the inline crank and 2 groove for the water pump with inline 6 mustangs with a/c and power steering?

How hard is it to find these pulleys

289 pulleys arent hard to get but the inline 6 seems to be a *****.
Any help would be thanked

I don't think they made a 3 groove crank pulley. I know they made a 2 groove water pump as my car has one. My car left the factory with smog so it has the 2 groove water pump pulley (the smog was pulled off a long time ago by the previous/original owners). As for the 2nd groove on the crank pulley/harmonic balancer, it's just a grooved ring that bolts onto the crank pulley.

I saw a photo of it jus now and the crank is 2 groove fan is 2 groove and alt has 2 grooves. That will run the power steering A/C and alt.

Question is are these pulleys the same as the 289 pulleys?

No, they are different pulleys. I know CJ Pony parts sells the crank pulley ring for about $55, but the dual groove water pump pulley is not reproduced, and I can't find it for sale at any parts supplier.
