There was an Edelbrock in my '65 when I bought it. The throttle linkage worked okay, but the kickdown linkage wouldn't work because it puts the throttle rod too far outboard to properly contact the kickdown bellcrank. Of course, it's not a problem if you have a manual. I swapped it for a 4100.
John??? Hell, you're back on allfordmustangs!! Cool to see you around again
On one of my 66's, it was converted to some mickey mouse cable setup, which slowly bent at the pivot bracket, then tore through the rusted floorpan from the cowl/windshield leak, lol...On the other 66 I'm building now, I'm going to attempt to use the stock bracket linkage
