I need a battery for my 1965 Fastback, 289 4BBL. I have seen 24F and 22F as the correct battery. Can anyone tell me which is correct?

Hi again. The correct way is with the negative battery post closest to the radiator.

If you have the extra cash, one of those reproduction Autolite "Sta-ful" batteries would look good in your engine bay.

I have the reproduction Auto Lite battery. On the 67 it's turned so the battery is against the fender. Positive towards the rear or firewall. 65-66 is placed differently. I believe the (negative)- side is towards the radiator as stated above.
