Newbie here. My son and I are rebuilding a 66 coupe 200 6 cylinder. The engine was rebuilt by a local shop. We upgraded the carb to a 2 barrel and the distributor to a DUI. We got the engine running a couple months ago and was running quite good. We then did some work on the radiator and brakes. Now, for some reason, it won’t start. We have spark with new spark plugs. And there is fuel going into the carb. Compression is at about 140 to 150 psi.

Help! What are we missing?

Well you are missing a valve cover. ;)

You mentioned the three things that an engine needs to run, compression, fuel, and spark. See if the spark is timed correctly.
