Hey guys,

It has been a while. I have been working on a VW beetle for the better part of last year and have almost got it done and have turned back to working on my 1966 mustang. I finnaly found out what my major malfunction was in regards to my ride cutting off at random. It was a sticking float valve in the carb! So my mechanic said he could order me a good carb from a place he worked with and he ended up getting me a rebuilt carter. Looks like it is in decent shape however I cant fit the air cleaner on it...

Anyone know if there is an adapter or some way that I can use the original air cleaner on my ride.

Many thanks

Garrett, glad to be back

hope you still have the original carb. you would be better off rebuilding it instead.

much better than a carter. . .

a sticking float needle and seat assembly isn't that hard to remedy. . .
