Hi guys,

Trying to save a few bucks I bought some Styled 14x5 wheels off of craigslist. But I didn't know that they couldn't be used with disc brakes since they rub with the calipers.

I really don't want shave down my calipers so my question is: Could I just buy wheel spacers/adapters instead? If so, what size should I get? I was thinking 1 inch...

I would appreciate if someone could give me some info before i buy the wrong size.

What calipers are you using? The styled steel wheels out there should clear the original Kelsey-Hayes 4 piston calipers without issue. The Granada calipers will indeed interfere with the wheels some. Some styled steel wheel offerings have welds on the inner side of the wheel that are the culprit and can be "dressed" down enough to clear. You may have to shave the Granada calipers a bit, but that is really no big deal. As far as spacers are concerned, I would not use any more spacing than is absolutely necessary. Less is better.
