Considering the Shelby side dump exhaust for my stock 66 coupe 289 2v automatic. It would be for looks and sound only, but I was wondering if it is to low to the ground and if putting the car on a lift is a problem with this exhaust set up. I have stock manifolds and 1" lowering front coil springs. Any input, good or bad, will help me with my decision. Thanks, Tom.

I ran them for a few years exiting just in front of rear wheels without a problem and that's after exhaust pipe guy said I would drag them off. May be illegal as you might want to check your area.

Thanks folks, I will check with the local laws. Because Ford did produce cars with this set up, I'm hoping I can convince them it was :gringreen a stock option, "even though it was not :nono: on my model". Hush Hush :hihi:
